Electric Vehicle Advisor

Not sure which Electric Vehicle (EV) is right for you? I can help you figure that out. It may or may not be a car. Maybe it&';s a truck or a bicycle. Maybe it&';s a bus or a boat. If you&';re looking for an Electric Car, there are many available alternatives. Several, you may not have heard of. That is also true if you looking at an electric bike or motorcycle or pretty much anything else, except maybe electric skates. I know the most about electric cars. But I&';m happy to research other vehicles for you.
And, if you&';re looking to drive less; I can discuss those options with you also.

Why Buy an Electric Car? Why Not?

I&';m doing this because Electric Vehicles fascinate me, always have. I love EV&';s. And, I want to make sure that if you buy an EV, you have the information to make an informed decision about which Electric Car is best for you.
Why are you looking for an Electric Car or other EV? What fascinates you about them?

Top Reasons to buy an EV (Electric Car): Less Expensive than Gas-powered vehicles; Sufficient Range for daily commute; Several Models to choose from.
Top reasons people give not to buy an EV: Too expensive, not enough range, not enough vehicle options.
Wait a sec, these are the same reasons. If you think an Electric Car is too expensive, think again. EV&';s come in a variety of prices as do ICE vehicles. (ICE stands for Internal Combustion Engine. ICE vehicles are powered by petroleum products.)

EV&';s also have a variety of ranges. If your daily commute is 50 miles or less, that is not a problem for most EV&';s. The same is true for 100 miles or less. If you need more range than that, get a Tesla or New Nissan Leaf. Both can be charged superfast. And Teslas have a range of 300 miles or more. Many newer EV&';s get 200+ miles per charge. If you&';re worried about finding a charging station, charge at home. Overnight charging at 110V will give you lots of range. Charging at 220V will fully or almost fully charge your EV overnight.

There are many EV models to choose from &n-; Sedans, SUVs, Hatchbacks, Trucks, and more. Not interested in a car, there are electric utility vehicles, golf carts, motorcycles, rickshaws, bicycles, trikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. Yep, there are electric skateboards!
In fact, there may be too many options to choose from. If you want or need my help to figure out which option is right for you and which options are available in your area, . I offer this service to individuals, fleet managers, car dealers, schools, etc. Most individuals looking for one Electric Car sign up for one to three hours of my Concierge services, depending on how many questions they have. The more complex your search, the longer it will take. If you&';re looking to buy multiple Electric Vehicles, I can help you analyze what your fleet composition will consist of. Five cars, three vans, two buses, ten utility vehicles, etc.

I have written more than 100 books. Find them all at Stubbart.com. My Travel & Transportation books are below.

I bought a Toyota Echo in 2003. The dealer told me it got 41 miles per gallon (mpg). It still gets 41mpg, though I&';ve been able to squeeze 43mpg out of it, even though the EPA rates it at only 36mpg (freeway), 30mpg (city).

This book tells how I get such good gas mileage.

Tactic #1 – Ban all Toxic Chemicals
Well, that idea went over like a lead balloon. Congress got behind it a negative 100%. The industries which sell all these chemicals was not in the least bit happy. Etc., etc. If I were in charge, I&';d ban all toxic chemicals in products.
